Say Hello to
Deb Overberg

Experienced graduate of Boulder College of Massage Therapy. Specializing in injury recovery, whether from a motor vehicle accident, a fall, repetitive strain, sport, or simply chronic stress. Deep Tissue, Swedish, Neuromuscular Muscle Energy Technique, Trigger Point Release, and Myofascial Release are my go-to techniques. I have special trainings in whiplash, abdominal massage, cranial work, and Anatomy Trains. My technical skills are balanced by my intuitive gifts honed through Energy Medicine University Certificate, Cyndi Dale Apprenticeship, Healing Touch, Reiki, and shamanic training. I offer the following enhancements to a session: hot stone, aromatherapy, CBD.

What is your “why”? Why do you do what you do and how does that impact your work?

I love to help people get back to doing what they love after an accident or injury. Many people feel they will never be the same after some of life’s events. I love being able to help relieve pain, increase their range of motion, and so regain strength. Oftentimes, they need specific work to find the areas that need to be relaxed. I can usually find those areas, release the tension, and get people back to doing their fun activities.

If you could snap your fingers and be anywhere in the world right now, where would that be?

I used to travel the world. Now I love being right where I am, though I am starting to travel again. Who knows what tomorrow will bring?

Favorite thing to do in your free time?

I research anomalous phenomena that happens during healing, advanced practices such as meditation, and periods of growth. Anomalous energy and Light is experienced yet measurements do not show or explain the extent of what is occurring in the offices of massage therapists and Reiki practitioners every day. Might there be a scientific explanation for Prana or Chi after all?

One piece of advice you give to ALL patients [clients].
